For the moment, Deep Research is not available on all iPhone but the deployment is progressive. Unsurprisingly, it was first Android devices that took advantage of Gemini's feature.

To put it simply: AI conducts in -depth research on any subject, as its name suggests. On the other hand, the processing time is extended. We are talking about between five and ten minutes during which Gemini performs several analyzes immediately.
If Gemini finds elements that require in -depth research, the AI continues his research until a satisfactory response. Rest assured: you don't have to be open during the process. A notification warns you when the analysis is complete.
Google, however, has set up a daily limit for the number of possible research via Deep Research but also on simultaneous requests. The functionality is therefore not adapted to those who want rapid responses.
The functionality will be available via the Gemini 1.5 Pro model when the deployment is finished. If Google has not shared a specific calendar, it is estimated that the iPhone will benefit from Deep Research in a few days.
