Honda takes out an airbag vest with in & motion for less than € 400
At Honda, the objective is zero death by collision on the road by 2050. It is this message that the brand has made for several years when it deals with security. At the two-wheeler 2025 fair in Lyon, the Japanese manufacturer thus presented an airbag vest at the rate content of € 399.
Honda has not started with a white sheet and is based on French technology in & motion, already present in the Furigan, Ixs, Tucano Urbano, Ixon, RST or Klim vests. The principle is simple: it is an airbag with electronic trigger, whose detection case must be rented to in & motion according to the chosen formula: € 12/month, € 120/year, or to purchase for 400 €. Several insurers also offer discounts on these subscriptions.

As a world number one, it is important to be a major player in security, with a capacity to be a leader in R&D as to broadcast on a large scale of technologies that already exist, explains Thomas Lemoine, Customer Division Director at Honda . The challenge is therefore to further democratize the use of the airbag vest with a presence in concessions and flocked equipment from the Japanese brand.
The black (unique) color model is worn under the jacket and protects four zones: thorax, abdomen, back and neck. It also includes a level 1.6 kg level IMP. It will be available in 35 Honda dealerships today, as well as on the Honda and In & motion stands of the Lyon two-wheeler fair.
