Samsung: its foldable smartphone in three should take a different form from the Huawei Mate XT

This is not the first time that this smartphone has been tackled for Samsung in design: Already in 2021we told you that Microsoft and Samsung were interested in technology to fold a screen in three. Then Huawei presented his Mate XT, the first smartphone to materialize this sweet dream. This revelation undoubtedly pressed the plans of Samsung, which hastened to let some information leaking about its own model of its genre.

The foldable model in several parts of Samsung is revealed thanks to leaks

Two leaks are to be reported: the first was unveiled by PandaflashPro, and reveals that the design of the Triple folder of Samsung will be completely different from that of the Huawei Mate XT. This rumor had already circulated before, suggesting that the Samsung model would fold inwards in the shape of “C” or “G”, unlike the “S” folding of the Mate XT. This would notably allow Samsung to better protect external screens. On the other hand, PandaflashPro also indicated that, according to an internal prototype, the flexible glass of the screen of the Galaxy G Fold (it could indeed be its small name) would use a technology different from that of the Galaxy Z Fold7 : It would be finer and would offer a maximum brightness of 1900 nits. Finally, the Leaker shared renderings based on information in its possession, showing the fully unfolded device, folded once and completely closed with its visible cover screen.

The other leak comes to us from Ross Young: the latter revealed that the coverage screen of the Galaxy Z Fold7 and the Triple Pliage phone would measure 6.49 inches. And that's not all: rumors suggest that the prototypes of the triple folding phone are equipped with Snapdragon processors, which could mean that the device would work with a Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. Still a few months to wait before discovering if all this information ends up checking.
