Gardena launches two new mowing robots, including a wireless model
Gardena renews its range of mowing robots with two intelligent and autonomous series: the Gardena Sileno Free and Max. This duo has advanced features for a complete maintenance of the lawn. The Free series benefits from a navigation without perimeter cable, a first for the brand.
Gardena Sileno Free: the experience of wireless mowing
The new Row Robot Gardena Sileno is Gardena's first model to benefit from peripheral wireless navigation technology. To do this, it calls on satellite signals, without requiring the installation of an antenna or additional beacons in the garden.
The Gardena Sileno Free also has a complete mowing capacity thanks to its two cutting trays equipped with three blades each, as well as the Trim to Edge function, which allows it to mow less than 1 cm from the border. In addition, this robot has IA Lona technology, which allows it to learn the specifics of the garden and offer a tailor-made strategy. An anti -collision radar, sold separately, makes it possible to anticipate any obstacles and avoid them, thus offering a mowing independently.

This robot will be available in three versions capable of covering 600 m², 800 m² or 1200 m² for prices of € 1,300, € 1,600, and € 1,800. All will be able to overcome slopes up to 30 %, while being silent with only 57 dB emitted. They will be marketed with the Smart Gateway Gardena gateway in order to control the robot remotely and benefit from the Lona intelligent features, without subscription or recurring costs.
Gardena Sileno Max: Advanced features for those who prefer a wired model
The Sileno Max series takes over the essentials of the Sileno Flow mowing, namely Trim to Edge and Lona technologies, as well as the double mowing disc. However, it differs through positioning technology, which this time requires the use of a peripheral cable. In addition, unlike the Sileno Free series, the Sileno Max are not delivered as standard with a smart gateway. They can therefore be checked from the brand's app via Bluetooth. It will always be possible to acquire the gateway for 100 €, this time authorizing the user to manage the robot remotely.
