Guide: What are the best mini-LED TVs? February 2025
The OLED has long remained the flagship technology of 4K TV with infinite contrasts and precise colors. Nevertheless, mini-LED screens are gaining ground from year to year with an image quality that has improved significantly. Carried by manufacturers like TCL and Hisense, but also Samsung on its 8K NEO QLED and Sony TVs which brought its very high-end from the OLED to the mini-LED, the technology is more and more present and interesting.
Mini-LED televisions generally offer good value for money with better management of contrasts, deep blacks, fewer blooming than televisions, and many more areas of dimming that entry -level LCD TVs (Full LED and Edge LED, in particular). Their brightness level is also unmatched in HDR, significantly above the OLED. As a bonus, there is no risk of burn-in (Marking of the slab) with its televisions, and you can find them in very large diagonals of screens, exceeding 100 inches.

This mini-LED television is almost at the level of certain very high-end televisions of the competition with a significantly lower price, and it can clearly be said that its value for money is simply remarkable. Its bright peak and contrasts are huge, its calibration is solid and its new audio system impresses. All is not perfect that said, with reflections still a little too marked, from the blooming Always present (mini-LED technology requires) and a few points that could be improved on the side of ergonomics.
