One UI 8 would not be late, users are relieved
One UI 7 is four months late for many users, aroused tensions. The Samsung community is therefore concerned with a similar delay for one UI 8. But according to the disclosure Ice Universe, this will not be the case.
One UI 8 would not be delayed
If the exact calendar is not known, the informant with a solid reputation claims that there will be no delay to plan. As a reminder, Google will publish the stable version of Android 16 at the end of the second quarter of 2025. Samsung would then deploy One Ui 8 during the third quarter of this year.
Android 16 brings several major innovations:
- A centralized photo selector for all applications
- Integration of medical records (Health Records)
- Improved audio sharing via Bluetooth audio
- Applications adapted to all screen formats
- Better support for vertical text
- Optimization of applications for foldable smartphones and tablets
- The Advanced Professional Video (APV) codec of Samsung
The second beta for Android 16 also added advanced photographic features such as hybrid automatic exposure, color temperature and shade. The third -party photo applications are now capturing photo motions, equivalent to Live Photos under iOS. Improvements have also been made to the Ultra HDR which calls itself Super HDR by Samsung.
