The White Lotus (Max): Five series to see if you are a fan of the HBO show

After a second season broadcast in 2022, The White Lotus is finally back on HBO and its Max streaming service With a season 3 that takes on its spectators in Thailand.

New episodes of the series created by Mike White (and already Reducted for a season 4) are expected every week on max from February 17, and if you are fond of this social satire, then Digital invites you to discover five other series in the same vein as The White Lotus.

If it is not quite similar to The White Lotusthis Netflix series released in 2023 (and who will soon have A season 2) is still in a similar style insofar as it stages characters from social classes opposite in a story full of black humor and at the Ambience just as chaotic as the series of Mike White.

Do you like Mike White's writing? So you will probably be interested in this series which he created before The White Lotus and in which he replies to Laura Dern. The star of Jurassic Park Play here one of the best roles in his career and if this comedy was only entitled to two small seasons for a total of 18 episodes, they are nonetheless excellent.

A perfect couple

Amelia is preparing to integrate one of the richest families in Nantucket until a brutal death compromises the wedding … and makes everyone a suspect.

A story of murder? Rich problems? Characters who believe they are better than the others? It is the recipe for this Netflix series which is therefore reminiscent of the formula of The White Lotus. We find here Nicole Kidman (decidedly subscribed to the roles of privileged women), Liev Schreiber, Dakota Fanning or Meghann Fahy (view in season 2 of The White Lotus). This series adapted from a novel by Elin Hilderbrand is not as incisive as that of Mike White but there is a vacation atmosphere at the beach and similar mystery.
