Dune 3: The shooting of the last film in the trilogy should start this summer

It may well be that Dune 3 Arrives on our screens faster than thought. According to our colleagues from DeadlineDenis Villeneuve would prepare to shoot the latest film in his suitable trilogy of Frank Herbert's work next summer, and the feature film would also be in pre-production so that the cameras start without much delay.
A shooting this summer, an outing in 2026?
If Deadline indicates that June would be too early for the launch of the shooting of Dune 3the site Budapest Reporter Announced a few weeks ago that Villeneuve's film would shoot in the Hungarian city next September.
This information is to be taken with tweezers, no filming location having so far been confirmed for this feature film, even if the two previous installments have indeed been shot at the Origo de Budapest studios, as well as in Jordan and Abu Dhabi.

A starting shooting between the middle and the end of the summer could however stick with the timetable in charge of actress Zendaya (Chani), which indeed continues this year the projects between the Season 3 of the series Euphoriathe fourth part of Spider-Man's adventures for Marvel and Odyssey by Christopher Nolan.
For the moment, Dune 3 does not yet have an official release date. He had been announced last summer that Warners Bros. had marked December 2026 in his calendar for the release of a “Denis Villeneuve event film.”
However, with a shoot that would start this summer, it leaves his team for a short time to set up a science fiction feature film of the caliber of Dunebecause each component of this saga indeed requires considerable post-production.

The Messiah of Dune
At any rate, Dune 3 will be the adaptation of Frank Herbert's second novel in the Dune cycle. Titled The Messiah of Dunethis book completes the story of Paul Atréides (embodied by Timothée Chalamet in the films) and takes place while the latter has been the Emperor Muad'dib for 12 years.
Paul became the Messiah of the Fremen and to lead them to the conquest of the Universe, but he finds himself incapable of arresting the deadly excesses of the religious mastodon he created.
The official title of Dune 3 has not yet been revealed. While waiting to know more, Dune is to see or review Streaming on Netflix while Dune: second part is available on mycanal.
