What is Tesla Cybertruck's security note?

The frontal crash test was conclusive. According to the NHTSA report, the test was carried out at a speed of 32 miles/h, about 56.3 km/h, against a front barrier which simulates the collision between two vehicles. The agency gave the score of 5 stars for the driver and 4 stars for the passenger.

The report indicates that the driver and passenger airbags unfold properly. However, those in the knees have not been deployed, but Tesla indicates that they were not designed to operate in this type of test.

For side crash tests, the Cybertruck has 5 stars. Two tests took place: the first is a collision simulation at a crossroads between two vehicles and the other simulates the impact between a fixed object like a tree or a lamp.

For the first test, a mobile barrier projected against the driver's side of the electric pick-up at 38.5 miles per hour, approximately 62 km/h, took place. For the second, the Cybertruck struck a rigid post at 20 miles per hour, or about 32 km/h. Tesla won 5 stars in both cases.

Finally, during the reversal test, the cybertruck never turned during the dynamic tests. The NHTSA estimates, however, that the risk is 12.4 %, a score of 4 stars.

In the end, Tesla cybertruck has a 5 -star note from NHTSA. The automaker has always received the maximum safety rating from the agency.
