If its exact price has not yet been announced, this laptop should cost less than the Laptop 13priced at € 879 for its DIY model.

However, the Laptop 12 does not abandon the modular aspect which made the reputation of Framework. On the CPU side, Framework opted for the generation Raptor Lake of Intel: I3 and i5 processors of 13ᵉ generation in a compromise (we imagine) between calculation performance and cost control. Impossible to opt for a Lunar Lake or Qualcomm chip without drawing a line on the modulability of the Laptop 12 (because of the welded memory), while the more recent options of AMD, less energy -consuming, would have had an impact on the 'final addition. To guarantee a low price, Framework had to make certain concessions. Pre-orders from the Laptop 12 framework will be launched during the month of April, with a launch planned for ** MI-** 2025.
