
Doctor Who: When is season 2 out with Ncuti Gatwa on Disney+?
Fans of Doctor Whoto your calendars! The Lord of Time embodied by Ncuti Gatwa (Sex Education) will come back to your screens next April for another trip aboard his faithful Tardis. For the occasion, he will be joined by a New travel companion And will even meet a cartoony character.
A new mission for the doctor
Disney+ And the BBC announced the date of return of Doctor Who For the second season of the series with Gatwa at the controls of the Tardis. So go to Mickey's house streaming platform on April 12 to see the doctor meet Belinda Chandra.
Embodied by Varada Sethu (Andor), this young woman will be the doctor's travel partner this season, in addition to Ruby Sunday (Millie Gibson), introduced in season 1.

According to the official synopsis of this new season, “The doctor meets Belinda and embarks on a real epic to bring her back to earth. However, a mysterious force prevents their return, and the Tardis team will then face a lot of dangers, as well as enemies and situations more terrifying than ever.”

A brand guest
Alan Cumming (Goldeneye,, X-Men 2,, The Good Wife) was also announced in the casting of this season 2. He will lend his voice to Mr. Ring-A-Ding (which can be glimpsed in the above images) in the second episode, “A joyful, funny and singing cartoon character who lives in Sunny Town with his friend Sunshine Sally,” According to an official description.

This role marks the return of Cumming in the Whoniverse after playing King Jacques I in “Les Chasseurs de witch”, an episode of 2018.
