Amazon Music has a serious argument: audio audio books

That Spotify offers audio booksit's Amazon's turn to react. Its musical streaming service, Amazon Music, has just won a serious rope on its arc this March 20 by integrating the audible audio book service, also owned by Amazon. The markets are concerned in France, Australia and New Zealand. At the end of 2024, United States, United Kingdom and Canada were already concerned.
A beautiful bonus for Amazon Music Unlimited subscribers
Unsurprisingly, this arrival of audible audio books does not concern Amazon Music users in its free version. Nor those who take advantage of it via their Amazon Prime subscription, which makes it possible to remove certain constraints from the service. Only people subscribed to Amazon Music Unlimited can now enjoy an audible audio credit per month.

This credit allows you to offer one of the audio books in the catalog, made up of 850,000 works, including 21,000 in French. Note that subscribers can listen to a single audio book both every month as part of the subscription. As on audible directly, for people who wish to listen to more audio books each month, it remains possible to subscribe to a audible subscription (€ 9.95 per month outside of regular offers) or to buy titles per unit directly from the application of the service.
Temporary free for new subscribers
Recall that Amazon Music Unlimited, which provides access without advertising and limits to 100 million titles and podcasts, is billed € 10.99 per month. A family offer is also offered, at € 17.99 per month for six people. For a limited time, new subscribers can take advantage of three free months.
