Through a realistic and intense staging, this feature film by Danny Boyle (Trainspotting) redefined the genre of zombie film and and marked an entire generation. It is written by Alex Garland (Annihilation,, Civil War) and also revealed Cillian Murphy (Peaky Blinders,, Oppenheimer).

Released in 2007, this non-direct suite is no longer carried out by Danny Boyle but by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo (The young lady and the dragon). She does not stage Cillian Murphy but is carried by Robert Carlyle (Trainspotting), Rose Byrne (Our worst neighbors), or Idris Elba (Luther) and follows characters confronted with the return of an epidemic which they thought to eradicate.
