Finally, AMD did not wait for CES 2026 to announce its Ryzen 5 7500X3D processor. The brand prefers to draw before the end of year holidays in order to equip players who wish to set up their configuration for this occasion.

The characteristics of the Ryzen 5 7500X3D are therefore confirmed: 6 multithreaded Zen4 cores, i.e. 6 cores and 12 threads, a frequency of 4.5 GHz, 96 MB of L3 cache and a power envelope of 65W.

Compared to the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, the previous most affordable offer in AM5 to take advantage of 3D-V Cache, the Ryzen 5 7500X3D therefore loses 2 cores and 500 MHz on its maximum frequency.

According to figures provided by AMD, the Ryzen 5 7500X3D is on average 13% more efficient on average over 20 games than the Core Ultra 5 245KF from Intel and 22% better performing across 10 competitive titles.
