The attack under 4CHAN is very serious

Kevin Beaumont, cybersecurity expert, describes this attack on “Particular compromise”with “Access to SQL databases, source code and servers”.

After 404Mediathe vulnerability exploited would come from an obsolete version of PHP and in particular from the Phpmyadmin tool, frequently targeted for its safety flaws. Several specialists have noted the presence of PHP functions for a long time abandoned such as MySQL_REAL_ESCAPE_STRING in screenshots on Soyjack Party. The 4chan system would not be up to date.

The situation raises the worst to fear the identity of users, whether “Anonymous” or administrators. On social networks, information is circulating, to be taken with tweezers. The images show names, IP addresses or even institution's messaging in .edu and .Gov at registration.

Is this the end of 4chan? Maybe not. But the site undergoes the worst attack of its existence, a controversial platform for many controversies and doubtful episodes.
