No later than this morning June 23, we noted that Bouygues Telecom, via his B & You branch, proposed a generous New “Summer Edition” package. On one point, however, the operator is late on his competitors: 5G+. After Free Then Orangethis technology also called 5G SA is discreetly deployed at Bouygues Telecom to the general public.

But there are some bad news, because there are few customers of the operator who will be able to enjoy this novelty for the moment offering a better mobile connection, faster and reliable.

Discreetly announced on an assistance page, the arrival of 5G+ at Bouygues Telecom requires first of all without surprise to be in an area covered by this technology which is based on its own infrastructure, not that of 4G.

Then you need a compatible smartphone. In the List providedwe can cite the iPhone 15 and more, fairly numerous (but recent) Samsung terminals and a handful of Xiaomi smartphones.

But where the rub is that a single package at the operator is affected by this 5G+option, fortunately offered free of charge, namely the 300 GB subscription to € 59.99/month with 24 -month commitment. In addition, you will have to activate the 5G+ option yourself from your customer area within the mobile application, via “Add an option”.

All that remains is to wait to see if, as with its competitors, this 5G+ option will ultimately be offered to all customers, and not only to the wealthy. There is no doubt that the operator’s real announcement is hiding at the turn.
