The arrival of season 2 of the animated series Arcana (which will be done in three acts) is fast approaching. While waiting for its release next November, Netflix has unveiled an explosive new trailer for these new episodes. Are you ready to see the conflict between Pitlover and Zaun intensify?

As a reminder, the season 2 ofArcanaseries based on the video game League of Legendswill be broadcast in three acts on the Netflix platform, on November 9, 16 and 23. This will also be the last season of the series, but its creators already have other ideas in mind:

“From the very beginning, when we started working on this project, we had a very specific ending in mind, which means that the story of Arcane concludes in this second season. But Arcane is only the first many stories we want to tell in Runeterra,” said Christian Linke, co-creator of the show.

So what awaits Jinx and Vi in these new episodes? According to the images from the new trailer below, the answer is merciless war.

Season 2 “truly explores the dark side of the characters,” indicated Linke to Netflixadding that the animation from French studio Fortiche Production takes the series to the next level to make its story “a very visceral experience.”

As for the journey of Jinx and Vi, the actresses who voice these characters in the original version, Ella Purnell (Jinx/Powder) and Hailee Steinfeld (Vi) spoke on the question:

“One of the biggest themes of Arcane is that you embody your choices, and you can never predict the consequences of those choices,” Purnell said. “Jinx is really going to hit rock bottom and finally have to decide if she's Jinx or if she's Powder.”

For her part, Steinfeld commented on Vi's journey and explained that we have already seen her face many traumas and that she will continue to manage them but “not always with grace”.
