Enco X3: Oppo clones premium Buds Pro 3 headphones from OnePlus
On the sidelines of the smartphone launch Find X 8the new high-end Oppo Enco X3 headphones have been unveiled on the Chinese version of the manufacturer's website. Almost all of their specifications had already been leaked this summer.
Both in terms of design and performance, the Enco X3 seems to be a carbon copy of the Buds Pro 3 from OnePlus. Not surprising, knowing that Oppo also owns the OnePlus and Realme brands. However, one might have hoped for slight differences between the two pairs of headphones, as there were between the Enco X2 and the Buds Pro 2.
Dynaudio audiophile sound architecture and fanciful noise reduction
Like OnePlus' latest headphones, the Enco X3 benefits from several improvements compared to their predecessors. The Chinese brand notably announces the arrival of IP55 certification, spatial audio and an AI noise reduction system for more intelligible phone calls. The Enco X3 would also be able to actively reduce ambient noise “ up to 50 dB “. Performances that we already know are very optimistic, while its Buds Pro 3 clone struggles to exceed 20 dB of attenuation according to our tests.
While it still supports AAC, SBC and LDHC 5.0 codecs, the Enco X3 Bluetooth receiver is upgraded to version 5.4. Furthermore, even if Oppo's writings in Mandarin do not allow us to certify it, the headphones should offer a battery life of 6 hours with ANC activated.
Still entrusted to Dynaudio, the audio part of the Enco 6mm.
No price has yet been announced for the Enco X3, but it is already possible to reserve them in black and off-white finishes at Oppo. Considering the positioning of the Buds Pro 3, you should have to pay around €200 to obtain them.
