Galaxy Z Fold 7: the next range could come in several different variants
The publication GalaxyClub has discovered the codenames linked to Samsung's upcoming line of foldable smartphones. Thus, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 benefits from the code name B7, while the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is entitled to the small name Q7. But now, in addition to these two code names, a third has appeared: Q7M. Since it uses the same Q7 as the Galaxy Z Fold 7, this suggests that another Galaxy Z Fold 7 model is indeed planned by Samsung for next year.
One more model in Samsung's foldable range in 2025
Note also that, according to GalaxyClub, the development of this new Q7M model occurs in parallel with that of the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which immediately eliminates the possibility that it is a foldable model presented at the start of the The year 2025. It could be a new SE variant, as Samsung started to do this year with its Z Fold 6 SE which has been much talked about recently. However, this is not the only possibility.
Indeed, for several months, rumors have been growing about the creation at Samsung of a model that folds in two, a bit like what Huawei has already offered in China with his Huawei Mate. It would therefore be entirely possible that this Q7M is this new type of foldable model, which would also allow Samsung to bring a little novelty to a range of foldable smartphones that has been going around in circles for years. For the moment, however, it remains difficult to determine with certainty what type of model it will be. Regardless, since the two Q7 and Q7M models are being developed in parallel, they should be released around the same time.
