Combat The turn-based combat system has been improved and is now presented in the form of a timeline. Find all the classic SaGa mechanics, such as Glimmers, which allow you to acquire new abilities in the middle of combat, and formations, which confer advantages to the team depending on its composition. The remake also introduces Coordinated Attacks, which allow you to attack as a team to turn the tide of combat!
Graphics The 2D pixel art characters from the original game have been remodeled in 3D while retaining their charming and familiar appearance inspired by Tomomi Kobayashi's beautiful illustrations. Cities and dungeons now display reworked structures.
Three difficulty levels Choose from: Easy, Normal and Hard (classic). The Easy tier offers a story-driven experience with less emphasis on combat. Normal is recommended for experienced RPG people looking for a balanced game. Hard (Classic) is perfect for people who want the demanding but rewarding experience of the original 1993 version.
Music and vocals Discover new arrangements by Kenji Ito. Select original music or new versions from Options. All cutscenes are now dubbed with English and Japanese voices.
