The SFR TV application launches on connected televisions equipped with Android TV

In the war of ISP streaming applications, which is increasingly replacing that of TV decoders, it is SFR's turn to advance its troops this October 29. SFR TV, its application allowing you to enjoy numerous channels and content in replay or VOD, is concretely extending its compatibility by landing on devices running Android TV.

SFR TV wants to democratize

Already offered on Android, iOS and on certain Samsung (2019 or more) and Hisense (2022 or more) televisions for several months, SFR TV is therefore arriving on systems equipped with Android TV version 9 or greater, on Chromecasts, Google TV Streamer and TV equipped with Google TV. Sony, TCL, Panasonic, Xiaomi and Sharp brand screens are particularly affected. Enough to reach a certainly wider audience.

Provided, however, that you subscribe to the SFR Fiber Premium offer or agree to pay €5 per month without commitment for the Multi TV option on connected TV. And, according to the first notes of the application received on the Play Store, many customers are not delighted to have to pay this amount to be able to watch SFR TV content. The application is also included on the main screen for Box + TV offers.

What content on SFR TV?

The SFR solution integrates more than 300 live channels for all genres, guides, radios, replay, recording and a VOD catalog. This content can be viewed simultaneously on five screens. Enough to compete with Orange or Free solutions with Oqee ?
