Galaxy S25 FE: Samsung would not improve performance too much
Information on the Galaxy S25 FE are still quite discreet. Only performance has in fact been mentioned for several weeks, suggesting the use of this or that processor. However, things have just become clearer via a recent information leak.
The leaker Chun Bhai has indeed shared on Twitter/X This October 23, 2024, this generation will use the Exynos 2400 processor from the Galaxy S24 and S24+ in Europe. We would therefore not be entitled to the Exynos 2500.
Considered for the Galaxy S25 FE or even the Galaxy Z Flip 7this new generation of Samsung chips has been canceled according to several South Korean media, reports the informant.
However, this choice is not surprising. Indeed, recent rumors in the corridors highlighted that Samsung was too late compared to the competition, including Qualcomm. Confirmation of the use of the new Snapdragon 8 Elite on all Galaxy S25s has also confirmed things.
The Galaxy S25 FE would still gain a little in performance, given that the Exynos 2400e used on the Galaxy S24 FE is slightly underclocked compared to the Exynos 2400 in the Galaxy S24 and S24+.
“So the company will still be able to claim that the Galaxy S25 FE has a more powerful chip than its predecessor. The Exynos 2400 is technically superior to the Exynos 2400e, even if only by a little,” emphasizes SamMobile.
Given that we are still several months away from the announcement of this new smartphone, uncertainty still reigns. The media indeed shares that certain sources still believe that Samsung is working on theExynos 2500while others assume the use of a MediaTek chip.
We will therefore have to wait a few more months before knowing exactly which processor will be embedded in Samsung's Galaxy S25 FE.
