PS5 Pro: more than fifty games will be natively compatible, Sony announces

This is the final stretch before the arrival of the mid-generation console for Sony. Scheduled for November 7 on the shelves, the PS5 Pro has already caused a lot of ink to flow – partly for its selling price of €799, or €250 more compared to the Standard edition of the PS5 Slim. Add to this the absence of a disc player, sold separately, and we understand that the pill has difficulty passing through to an audience with an increasingly constrained budget.

In fact, the PS5 Pro is primarily aimed at tech enthusiasts, looking for the best possible console graphics experience – which is what the PS5 Pro promises, with its substantially more powerful GPU and new PSSR upscaling technology for PlayStation Spectral Super Resolutiondeveloped in partnership with AMD. Enough to improve the frequency and quality of images on the most demanding titles thanks to planned optimizations in the form of patchwith this additional graphics calculation latitude.

While awaiting our final verdict, Sony has already announced more than fifty games which will receive updates to make them natively compatible with the PS5 Pro for its launch. Among them, some big first-parties like Horizon Forbidden West, Marvel's Spider-Man or God of War Ragnarok.
