LiveWire partners with Kymco to create a crazy maxi electric scooter
LiveWire is an American manufacturer and not just any American manufacturer, since it is the electric branch of Harley Davidson which became an independent manufacturer in 2021 (our test of the S2 Del Mar here). The brand does have a few models in its catalog, but no maxi scooter to date.
For its part, Kymco offers two small models on the market equivalent to 50 and 125 cm3. Nothing too fancy for bikers wanting an electric variant with pep.
The two manufacturers have therefore decided to join forces to produce a maxi scooter and come and walk on the flowerbeds of the BMW CE-04.
The model, about which we know very little, will feature LiveWire's S2 Arrow electric powertrain. The cycle part remains unknown. However, we have a date: 2026. A year which, if the promises of the various manufacturers are kept, risks being rich in muscular electric proposals.
