E-Moped 500, an electric scooter inspired by the Fiat 500 e and designed by Pininfarina
The E-Moped 500 is a very pretty 125 cm³ equivalent electric scooter, which draws its style from that of the iconic Fiat 500 e and Vespas. The good news is that it will be available before the end of the year.
It was during the EICMA in Milan (Italy) that the Italian manufacturer Platum presented its 125 cm³ equivalent electric scooter. The design is by Pininfarina, very inspired by the Fiat 500 e, as well as the Vespa. This is all well and good, but who is Platum?
Exactly, we are coming there. If Platum is launching into the electric scooter segment, this designer is already known in the world of new mobility. He's the one behind electric scooters and bikes from Jeep, Ducati, Aprilia, Lamborghini and, recently, Lancia electric bikes.
Products sold expensively and often with very average performance. The bellows therefore falls a little. However, we want to give the benefit of the doubt, because nothing prevents this E-Moped 500 from delivering services that match its design.
On the technical side, the E-Moped 500 has a removable battery, promises up to 115 km of autonomy (which seems enormous to us) for a maximum speed of 80 km/h.
No price announced, but availability expected before the end of the year.
