Resumption of leadership role in the folding smartphone market

Samsung is certainly facing increasingly tough competition in the folding models market, especially since the firm seems to be resting on its laurels for several years, offering similar new Z Flip and Z Fold every year. 'other. A tri-folding model would be an opportunity for the Korean firm to resume its role as pioneer and leader in this market. And the firm is seriously considering it: in a report from the Korean publication ETNewswe learn that Samsung could release this new model by next year.

The South Korean firm has already started development work on the product, and its design should be finalized by the end of November. Moreover, speaking of design, this new model should be different from the Huawei Mate XT: the latter folds outwards, while the device planned by Samsung should fold inwards. When unfolded, Samsung's folding model should reach 9/10 inches, which would make it comparable in size to the tablets currently offered by Samsung. When folded, the device should still have a shape similar to that of a classic smartphone.
