First-generation electric Hyundai KONA: a valid second-hand choice?

Good news, this first generation is available second-hand on many car resale platforms, notably those of the Korean manufacturer's network. Avant-garde design

Since its launch, the Hyundai KONA electric stood out with a resolutely modern style, different from other models. For urban trips, a version with a smaller 39.2 kWh battery is available, offering a range of 305 km with 136 horsepower. This version, more modest in power, is perfect for daily use.

When it comes to charging time, the Korean firm indicates a time of 47 minutes on a 100 kW fast charger. Hyundai has integrated a regenerative braking system adjustable on several levels which optimizes autonomy by recovering energy during braking, which is useful for extending the distance traveled between two recharges. In town, this also allows you to have a range that can significantly exceed the data announced by the manufacturer.

Buying first generation electric KONA in 2024: the good deal?

In 2024, the First generation Hyundai KONA electric remains a solid alternative on the second-hand market, or even compared to new models, sometimes more expensive and much less well equipped, all with less interesting autonomy.
