Between the stacked sensor, the AI co-processor for autofocus, the extra burst and the stability of 8K recording, the Canon EOS R5 Mark II is a great development that will please users of the first R5 who need more punch in AF and burst. We also welcome the high resolution mode integrated into the case, more stable than a multishoot mode, even if it does not offer all the advantages. If only Canon hadn't limited a few things (buffer memory, backlit controls, etc.), the EOS R5 II could have been a near-perfect body. It's only excellent, which isn't bad!

The Nikon Z8 is a pretty impressive device. It renews all the advances of the Z9 and gets rid of the few “defects” that could be attributed to the Japanese monoblock. It is an expert device, very versatile in both photography and video, which easily competes with the best sports and studio hybrids, all with an aggressive pricing policy. That being said, the Z8 is still more bulky than its competition, especially equipped with large Nikon lenses for hybrids. But once you've tasted it, it's hard to do without it.
