Apple would work to make Siri more powerful to catch up
According to sources cited by the very serious BloombergApple is currently developing a new version of Siri, more focused on conversation. The goal is to catch up on the artificial intelligence train: other models like Gemini provide a much more natural approach to conversation compared to Siri, which still appears to be a little too mechanical today. .
One Siri to rule them all
According to Bloomberg, the new assistant thus developed by Apple should completely change, not only in its mode of conversation, but also in its interface. The service could ultimately take the form of what Open AI's advanced voice mode offers today, but with access to all applications and personal information already available to Siri. However, such a change is not planned for immediately: this new Siri should not be available before spring 2026, according to Bloomberg sources.
In the meantime, it is Apple Intelligence which will be responsible for improving the current experience, not by improving Siri, but by allowing other artificial intelligence models to take over if necessary, such as ChatGPT (which can be accessed from Siri). But we will still have to wait: Apple Intelligence, it's not before April 2025 here.
