This operator launches the first 5G package with 400 GB of internet envelope, without commitment
For several months, it's been a bit of an escalation. While Arcep explains that the average consumption is 17 GB in 4G, operators are offering increasingly larger envelopes.
Up to 400 GB of 5G at Prixtel, without commitment
Logical since 5G naturally increases consumption, just like the democratization of streaming platforms which pump up a lot of data. For example, an hour of Netflix requires between 1 and 7 GB depending on quality. Without forgetting that some prefer to use a 5G connection instead of an internet box.
With this in mind, Prixtel is hitting hard with the Le Géant package while Free has increased the quota of its historic package from 300 to 350 GB. This is a no-commitment subscription which offers up to 400 GB of 5G. The concept of Prixtel is simple: at the end of the month, you only pay for what you consume with different levels.
Prixtel's Le Géant package starts at €14.99 for 350 GB then increases to €17.99 between 350 and 370 GB then €20.99 up to 400 GB. In case of excess, no additional costs: connection is restricted. The offer even includes 25 GB from Europe and the French Overseas Territories.
Prixtel therefore hits very hard with this package. His best argument: the absence of commitment. Subscribers leave at any time, without proof.
