The spearhead of the Huawei conference is none other than the Mate X6its latest innovation in terms of foldable smartphones after the model that folds in three, the Mate XT. But what does this new ultra-slim phone have in store for us?
Huawei Mate X6
The Huawei Mate X6 stands out for its thinness with a thickness of 9.85 mm folded and 4.6 mm unfolded. The foldable smartphone features a 50-megapixel XMAGE Ultra Aperture sensor with a 10-level adjustable physical aperture, a 40-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 48-megapixel macro telephoto lens.
The Huawei Mate X6 runs EMUI 15 and is available in Nebula Red and Black colors which are inspired by planetary orbits.
nova 13 series
The nova 13 series targets young people according to Huawei. The Pro version has a 50-megapixel main camera with variable aperture (F1.4-F4.0) with optical stabilization (OIS) and a 3x telephoto lens also stabilized.
Huawei's XD Portrait Engine optimizes photos based on five criteria (shape, texture, vibrancy, color and blur) to offer three different styles.
The AI Best Expression feature improves burst photos via AI. The smartphone is available in Loden Green, Black and White with a high fashion inspired Dynamic Plaid Texture design.
FreeBuds Pro 4
The FreeBuds Pro 4 deliver lossless audio transmission at 2.3 Mbps and eliminate up to 100 dB of noise during calls via an AI noise reduction algorithm and three microphones including a bone conduction VPU.
The connected headphones are compatible with Huawei's proprietary L2HC 4.0 for uncompressed transmission of 48 kHz/24-bit audio.
Huawei promises a rich sound experience with dual-speaker True Sound system and Digital Cross-Over technology.
FreeClip in rose gold color
Other connected headphones: the FreeClip, now available in Rose Gold color, with a C-Bridge design described as ergonomic and comfortable by Huawei. The new version comes with new features such as the Dynamic Bass algorithm, head movement control (available via update on January 15, 2025) and Drop Reminder which alerts the user if an earbud slips.
