Return and Lock System.All STANLEY tape measures have a powerful tape return and an effective locking mechanism – key innovations and factors that Stanley introduced as the first manufacturer with the famous Powerlock tape measure.
Effective tape measure protection. For work in demanding environments, choose a Mylar-coated tape measure that provides up to 10 times greater abrasion resistance than painted tape. STANLEY's premium models feature an additional seal with Blade Armor – a thermoplastic coating at the beginning of the belt, which provides long-lasting protection even in the harshest conditions.
Horizontal stability.The curved steel strip – first designed by STANLEY – provides high stability in a stretched state without bending. This allows working with one hand, even if the belt cannot be supported from below. This is particularly useful for measurements in rough and construction construction, such as for example in the construction of roof chairs.
Sliding hook for greater precision. The end hook fixed with solid rivets remains movable. It thus compensates for its own force and allows precise interior and exterior measurements. On some models, the end hook also allows drawing or striking circles.
The FATMAX and FATMAX Pro range dimensions feature a three-way hook that can be attached from the top, bottom or side to the workpiece being measured.
