Released in August 1981, Tattoo You contains the latest Rolling Stones classics: Start Me Up And Waiting For A Friend. Thanks to Start Me Up, the album rose to the top of charts around the world, reaching number one in the United States for nine weeks.
This album is mainly composed of outtakes, songs “abandoned” since 1971 for some, then reworked by the group during sessions with Chris Kimsey in Paris in 1980 and 1981.
This new version has been remastered by Stephen Marcussen, the Stones offer here 9 new tracks and the entire Live at Wembley from 1982 which will make fans dream.
