Byd Atto 2 is therefore not the most accessible model in its category. A Citroën Ë-C3 Aircross Thus starts at € 27,400 – certainly with much leaner equipment, and it is eligible for the ecological bonus, while the Chinese production of the ATTO 2 prohibits it. However, Byd plans to produce its first cars in Europe at the end of 2025, in Hungary. This will allow him to override the compensatory customs duties established by the EU against electric cars produced in China, and perhaps win the ecological bonus in France. The atto 2 will not be the very first model to be assembled in this new factory.
