Unpleasant surprise for the Thermomix TM7: this essential accessory is no longer compatible
More sophisticated, more elegant and more innovative, the Thermomix TM7 Filled and marks a frank rupture with its predecessor. If he has many arguments of seduction for him, he loses however an accessory oh so essential, which allowed Thermomix TM6 (and TM5) to be even more versatile: the Minute.
With the latter, Vorwerk may have launched the most awaited accessory by the manufacturer's community, because it allows you to grate and cut the vegetables into rings. At its launch in 2022, the drop-minute arrived as a small revolution in the manufacturer's universe, undoubtedly with regard to the tool that lacked in the most successful robot in the market.
Unfortunately, the drop-minute is not compatible with the Thermomix TM7, especially because of its opening and closing system of the bowl. In fact, the TM7 – with its locking system entirely integrated into the bowl – could not maintain the cover on the cutting accessory. Certainly a blow for all users of a Thermomix TM6 with a minute cut, who would have liked to switch with the new model. The latter will have to wait until the availability of this accessory for the TM7, but to date, no information concerning the launch has been announced.
What compatibility for thermomix accessories?
The thermomix is systematically delivered with its four accessories, including the interior steam basket, the upper steam tray, the spatula (or maryse) and the drummer. Vorwerk declines many other accessories for his robotter, but not all will be compatible with the new TM7.
Accessories compatible with the Thermomix TM7
The knives If you had extra blades, know that you can use them with the Thermomix TM7. Resistant to preparations up to 160 °, these blades are suitable for high temperature preparations.
The peeler THE peeler is in the form of a disc and is used to peel up to 800 g of vegetables (potatoes, carrots, turnips, etc.).

Accessories incompatible with the Thermomix TM7
The bowl If you had an additional bowl with your Thermomix TM6, know that the latter will not be compatible with the TM7. And for good reason, the bowl of the new robot-cook is covered with an insulating shell which cannot be grafted for the previous generations of bowl.
The Thermomix Friend THE Thermomix companion TM6 will not be available with the TM7. This little culinary robot with the mission “To offer the parallel kitchen to cook two dishes at the same time” will not be able to contact the TM7, without knowing what technically blocks the compatibility between the two devices. Nevertheless, this information comes from Vorwerk. Note that the TM Friend can always be used in manual mode next to a TM7.
The cut-minute To date, no information concerning the launch of a grater or a cutting disc for the TM7 has been revealed.
