A GeForce RTX in a Chromebook? The nice trick of “Fast Pass” from Google and Nvidia

Google continues to rely on cloud gaming to enrich the experience of its laptops. In partnership with Nvidia, the firm is announcing a whole new way of playing dedicated to Chromebook users with the GeForce Now Fast Pass offer.
This new partnership aims to transform the Chromebook into a real gaming station, without requiring expensive hardware. Thanks to the power of NVIDIA’s GeForce RTX servers, users will be able to stream more than 2,000 PC games directly to their device.

A simplified, ad-free gaming experience
The principle of the GeForce Now Fast Pass is based on ease of access. The service connects directly to players’ existing game libraries (via platforms like Steam, Epic Games Store, Xbox, etc.). Therefore, it is not necessary to repurchase titles that you already own to benefit from them on the cloud.
NVIDIA and Google promise a seamless experience, designed to let users dive into their games quickly. The main benefits of this “Fast Pass” include:
- The absence of advertisements for total immersion.
- Access priority, allowing you to skip the queue to access the game servers.
Availability and conditions of the offer
This new formula will be launched on November 20. It is linked to the acquisition of hardware: anyone purchasing a Chromebook from this date will benefit from the GeForce NOW Fast Pass offered for one year. You will then have to go at this address to activate your offer.
However, it is important to note that this offer includes a playing time limit. The subscription allows you to play 10 hours per month. For occasional players who do not use all their credit, the system provides for a carryover of hours: up to five unused hours can be transferred to the following month.
