A rocket in your pocket: the OnePlus 15 already panics benchmarks

OnePlus is not at his first swallowing. But this time, the Chinese manufacturer did not even bother to wait for his keynote: it was Geekbench who sold the wick. THE Future OnePlus 15referenced under the code name PLK110, makes a remarkable appearance there. And if the raw scores have (so far) no sense, technical information is very concrete. New generation chip, Android 16, 16 GB of RAM … We take stock of what you can really expect from this future racing beast.

The OnePlus 15 has therefore just passed between the Geekbench claws. And even if the performance results are to be put into perspective (it is a prototype, probably restrained) the technical sheet, it clearly deserves to dwell on it.

First surprise, even if we suspected it: The on -board Soc is none other than the future Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. . Engraved in 3 Nm, this processor will be officially launched in October and promises spectacular performance gains. It has two “premium” cores clocked at 4.61 GHz, as well as six cores secondary to 3.63 GHz, an unprecedented configuration which suggests an extraordinary velocity.

On the graphic side, the GPU Adreno 840 also makes a remarkable appearance. It is a model still not formalized by Qualcomm, but everything suggests that it will offer a significant leap in Ray Tracing, in complex shaders management and thermal performance. 3D and 8K video game lovers should find their account there, especially since everything could be coupled on an LTPO QHD+ screen with high cooling rate.

Another info gleaned: the tested device runs under Android 16with the Oxygenos 16 overlay. Nothing more logical, but it confirms that the phone is targeting an outing close to the end of the year in China. On the other hand, for Europe, it will undoubtedly have to wait until the first quarter of 2026.

Finally, the technical sheet evokes a version with 16 GB of RAM, probably in LPDDR5X, enough to run without flinching any game or app of 2025… and probably even 2027. Finally, Its battery would exceed 7000 mAhwith a 100W recharge.
