A smartphone, three pairs of headphones: CMF (Nothing) is about to go upmarket with many products
Nothing has decided to accelerate its rhythm of presentations. The young brand led by Carl Pei distinguished itself in March 2025 by launching two new smartphones, positioned in the mid -range. THE Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) pro illustrated by their aggressive rate and their neat service. But it is under its CMF derivative brand that the firm intends to expand its catalog, this time with a phone 2 pro. Its presentation is scheduled for April 28, at 3 p.m.
A smartphone in modular format
For the moment, CMF by Nothing does not detail the technical sheet of your smartphone, which we logically imagine a little more careful than a “classic” phone 2, proced mention. What we know, however, is that the brand will keep the modular approach adopted by its phone 1 launched in June 2024, since the first teasers Published on the social network X show the screw to remove and replace the back shell of Phone 2 Pro. CMF also confirms that its device will be provided with a single back photo module, and provides at least two colors for the device: silver gray and orange, bright color also retained for the Phone 1.

We can hope for a performance gain, to justify the mention “pro”, but also the addition of NFC compatibility which was inexplicably lacking in the first CMF model. Hopefully the brand improves the duration of update of its device, its first terminal being content with two years of Android upgrades and three years of safety fixes. As for Phone 2 classic whose phone 2 pro promises to be the declination, it is not mentioned by CMF; It is therefore a safe bet that a new announcement is to be expected in the second half of 2025.
The CMF Phone 2 Pro will not come alone on the market. The smartphone will be accompanied by the trifle of three pairs of headphones, CMF Buds 2, Buds 2A and Buds 2 Plus.
