So if the collectible cards which take up the Ghibli style of Call of Duty Black Ops 7 were generated by AI, so that means Activision doesn’t care about controversies. On the Black Ops 7 Steam page, there is even a vague message added by Activision about AI-generated content: “Developers use generative tools to help develop certain elements of the game.”

When Activision was asked about this by PC Gamingthe answer remains elusive: “Like many around the world, we use a variety of digital tools, including AI tools, to support our teams in creating the best possible gaming experiences for our players. Our creative process continues to be led by the talented people in our studios.”

Obviously, if there is no official confirmation from the publisher, for many players, these collectible cards were generated by AI. There are far too many clues pointing in this direction. We know that Internet users are formidable investigators and there is little chance that Activision has escaped their talent.
