Airpods Pro 3, Airtags 2… Precious indices were hidden in the code of iOS 26

Apple never shouts its projects on the roofs. She prefers to slide them discreetly into the code, like so many winks to the curious. And in The beta of iOS 26it is a double teasing that has just been spotted: an explicit mention of Airpods Pro 3 and several clues pointing towards the arrival ofAirTags 2.
Two very different products, but which share a common point: they could both make their return this fall, more clever, more connected … and above all much more ambitious.
Spotted by Steve Moser (Macrumors), the mention of the AirPods Pro 3 in an audio framework of iOS 26 leaves little room for doubt: Apple already refines the terrain for this new model. On the program, according to rumors: redesign of design, new audio chip, better active noise reduction, sound quality revised upwards, and possible integration of health sensors (heart rate, temperature). An evolution that would confirm Apple’s well-being turn on its audio accessories.
But that’s not all. In a completely different register, Macworld Detected in the beta of iOS 26 adjustments linked to Bluetooth and energy management, very specific to AirTags. What suggest, without great ambiguity, that AirTags 2 are also approaching.
And here again, rumors converge on a fundamental improvement: the integration of the U2 chip, Appeared on the iPhone 15which would offer a location range up to 60 meters, against 15 meters for the current U1 chip. In other words, a finer, faster, and much more efficient location, especially indoors.
The other expected novelty concerns the battery: Apple would prepare new energy management settings, aimed at optimizing the compromise between autonomy and performance. A way to adapt to different uses – from the backpack forgotten to the car in an underground parking lot.
Finally, and except last minute turnaround, the AirPods Pro 3 and the AirTags 2 should be presented in the fall of 2025, most likely during the September Keynote.
