Airpods Pro 3: Apple discreetly confirms an outing in 2025, here are the expected new features
Since 2022, the AirPods Pro 2 have not been improved by Apple, with the exception of a Passage to the USB-C For the case the following year. Things should however change in 2025 with the launch of the AirPods Pro 3, just suggested by a recent discovery in Apple software!
Airpods 3 are fast approaching
On Twitter/X, Aaron Perris has indeed spotted in a recent Apple software update the presence of a line of code dedicated to pro -pointing airpods to an unprecedented model.
A screenshot thus shows the following mention: “This task requires pro 2 airpods or a later version”. Previously, only the Airpods Pro 2 were referenced on this line.
This suggests that a function of the current generation will be compatible with the next, the AirPods Pro 3.
As a reminder, their launch is expected for the start of the 2025 school year alongside iPhone 17s, 17 air17 pro and 17 pro max.

Pending the usual month of September, focused on the announcement of new iPhone and accessories (Apple Watch and Airpods) rumors have already revealed several expected new products Airpods Pro 3.

On the audio side, a new processor would be there, allowing headphones in particular to offer a “Much better” Noise reduction, according to Mark Gurman. An evolution necessary to stand out from market leaders like Bose and Sony, with performance comparable to AirPods Pro 2.
Finally, a major new iOS 19 software related to AirPods leaked: Real -time translation Conversations. However, it could not be exclusive to the AirPods Pro 3.
