All of Us Are Dead: Season 2 of the Netflix series gives (finally) its news

She thus entered the top 10 most popular non-English-speaking shows at the time.

Renewed for a season 2 quickly after its release, it had not given many news … until today! The streaming giant has just formalized the start of its shooting.

This new chapter will see the character of Nam On-Jo, now a student in Seoul, to fight to overcome the trauma of the events of the Hyosan high school, and the death of her friends.

But when a new wave of infection suddenly strikes the South Korean capital, “She finds herself trapped in a new fatal struggle for her survival, this time without the people on which she formerly depended”says the official synopsis.

Among the actors who return to this second season, we will note the presence of Park Ji-Hu (interpreter of Nam On-Jo), Yoon Chan-Young (who plays Lee Cheong-San), Cho Yi-Hyun (who plays Choi Nam-Ra) and Lomon, interpreter of Lee Su-Hyeok.

In addition to the casting of known heads, new players join the distribution, including Lee Min-Jae (Weak Hero Class 2), Kim Si-Eun (Mental coach Jegal), Roh Jae-Won (Squid game) and Yoon Ga-i.

This adaptation of the eponymous webtoon of Joo Dong-Geun published in 2011 is always scripted by Chun Sung-Il (King the Land) and produced by JQ Lee and Kim Nam-Soo.

All of Us Are Dead had succeeded in renewing (a little) the series of zombies by placing its intrigue at the heart of a school establishment, allowing a skillful mixture of genres, incorporating in particular the teenage initiatory narrative and the current anxieties of the young generation.

This season 2 will have taken a long time before launching the production, initially planned to start in 2024. But Netflix had decided at the time to push the shooting to create “A better production environment”. Hopefully this benefits the quality of the program.

No release date has yet been announced for season 2 of All of Us Are Deadbut Digital will obviously be informed.
