Amazfit Balance 2: The Lifestyle watch is diving and the hyrox

L’Amazfit Balance We had convinced, during its test carried out in 2024: despite its price located below 250 €, the connected watch combined good cardio and GPS performance with long -lasting autonomy. No wonder the brand continues on its momentum, and now markets its heiress, called Balance 2.. The smartwatch had been formalized in China in May 2025, and it made its international debut today.

Oriented lifestyle Like its elder, Amazfit’s balance 2 always targets the balance between design and sports functions. It retains a comparable design, with its 1.5 inch round screen (Amoled, 480 x 480 pixels), its crown and button located on its right side, and its standard 22 mm bracelet. The manufacturer has kept the aluminum alloy of its case, but added a sapphire window to protect its display, for more sustainability. In the same vein, the watch gains in aquatic functionality: when the first scale was not suitable for diving, the balance 2 is certified for this activity, up to 45 meters deep; We note, however, that the adapted sports mode will be brought to the device via a subsequent update.

A more imposing case for more solidity and endurance

Designed to be a little more solid, the Balance 2 case is also more imposing than that of the first generation, with its dimensions of 47.4 x 47.4 x 12.3 mm. And for good reason: its battery has a capacity of 658 mAh, facing the 475 mAh of the first balance. It thus promises 21 days of standard use, 7 days more than its elder, which had actually held 10 days during our test. It also gains in storage, with its internal space of 32 GB, allowing to record music as well as maps to be used out of connection.

Libra 2 is turned to health, since it measures its sensors (updated in passing) the heart rate as well as its variability, body temperature and sleep quality. But it mainly aims at sportsmen, using its double-band GPS, its analysis of post-training recovery and its activity programs piloted by IA. It is even part of the current trend, since among the 170 types of supported sports, there is a mode dedicated to the Hyrox. For the rest, the watch counts speakers to make Bluetooth calls, allows you to respond to messages received and pay without contact, at least with a supported bank.

In addition, a bracelet … without screen

Amazfit announces the availability of its balance 2 at a price of € 299, € 50 more than the first balance when it is released, which its reinforced case, its more substantial battery and the software contributions of Zeppos 5.0, its home operating system. The brand proposes to associate it with its new “screenless” bracelet, the Helio Strap – which is a declination of the ring Helio Ring – Balance 2. This device full of sensors aims in particular to complete the physical preparation score delivered by the watch not only based on data from the previous day, but by analyzing the shape of the user in real time.
