Android 16: Your pixel becomes a mini-PC thanks to this new function!

The interface thus consists of a bar of tasks and navigation buttons at the bottom, while the top discreetly displays the time, date and status bar (WiFi, cellular network and battery level).

Regarding multitasking, several applications can be launched simultaneously, with the possibility of resize them manually or automatically by anchoring them in a corner of the screen – like Windows or macos. As a bonus, it is possible to drag and drop content between two applications.

For Mishaal RahmanGoogle would purely and simply reuse the office mode already introduced on tablets with Android 15, adapting it to smartphones Pixel.

Note, this feature would still be only to an early stage of development, which would justify a launch after the release of the stable version From Android 16.
