Android Auto 2025: YouTube, Video Games, AI… Google signs the most ambitious update since its launch
With Android Auto, Google has so far played the card of simplicity: navigation, hands -free calls and a hint of messaging. But in 2025, the ambitions are quite different. The embedded system is transformed, pushing, unsurprisingly, the cursors of artificial intelligence, but also entertainment and personalization. Small announcements were made on the occasion of Google I/O, confirming that Android Auto no longer wants to accompany driving, but enriching the whole experience on board.
Android Auto 2025: gemini, games, video and weather on the program
The biggest novelty? The integration of Gemini, the Home Intelligent Vocal AssistantWho now replaces Google Assistant in the car. Result: more natural exchanges, a contextual understanding of orders, and even real -time translation in 40 languages. Practical for trips abroad or rental cars?
On the entertainment side, Google passes the high speed. Android Auto is now hosting video applications (reading possible only stopped), mobile games (such as Angry Birds 2 Or Candy Crush Soda Saga) as well as web browsers. Yes, you can consult a site directly from the screen of your car – at the stop only, security requires.
Weather applications also make their entry, as well as better integration of instant messaging. Finally, Google announced the highly anticipated return of clear mode, a more readable interface in broad daylight, as well as the possibility, on some models, to manage air conditioning from Android Auto.
These new features concern both Android Auto (connected via smartphone, therefore) and Android Automotive OS (System integrated into the vehicle), and will gradually be deployed, according to the manufacturers.
