Only a few weeks ago, Anker, a manufacturer notably specializing in external batteries, launched a recall campaign for one of its most popular models, the Anker PowerCore 10000 (model A1263). As if that were not enough, at the end of June 2025 five other external batteries Anker are in turn concerned. Fortunately, here the risks of use seem less important.

Anker recalls six models of external batteries

Indeed, if the PowerCore 10000 has fire risks, this does not seem to concern other models, which Anker decides despite everything by “abundance of prudence“. The manufacturer indicates that it has implemented new quality protocols, having detected manufacturing concerns for many batteries litium-ion.

Are therefore concerned:

  • Anker PowerCore 10000 – Model A1263
  • Anker Power Bank (10k, 22.5W) – A1257 model
  • Anker Power Bank (20,000mah, 22.5W, integrated USB-C cable)-A1647 model
  • Anker Maggo Power Bank (10,000mah, 7.5W) – A1652 model
  • Anker Zolo Power Bank (20k, 30W, USB-C and Lightning Cables)-Model A1681
  • Anker Zolo Power Bank (20k, 30W, integrated USB-C cable)-A1689 model

To find out if you are concerned, head to the serial number registered on the back or on one of the sides of the battery. If you find one of the above model numbers, direction this form For ultimate verification or send proof of purchase.

Also stop using the battery in question and throw it away (not anywhere) that when you ask you. The manufacturer offers to compensate for a free replacement or a voucher on its site.
