One thing is clear, it is that Ile-de-France Mobilités wants to catch up on the dematerialization of transport titles in the Paris region. In recent weeks, there have been good and less good news regarding the arrival of the various formulas offered to move in the capital.

The Navigo Liberté+ pass is available on smartphones

First of all, note that after a beta phase, the Navigo Liberté+ pass has been accessible to everyone on Android and iOS since the end of June 2025.

To be used directly via the Île-de-France Mobilités app on its NFC compatible mobile, this solution reserved for residents in Île-de-France allows you to pay less for its trips:

€ 1.99 per metro-rerement instead of € 2.50
€ 1.60 per ticket bus-trans instead of € 2

The correspondence between metro-rere and bus-trans are offered and a daily ceiling limited to € 12 applies. In addition to these reductions, the Navigo Liberté+ pass allows you to control your budget, since a single invoicing takes place at the end of the month.

Note that if you already have a Liberty+ Physics navigo pass, it is impossible to import it into the application: you will have to create a new dematerialized new one.

In addition, if the paper tickets will be deleted from October 2025, they will still be valid until June 2026. The transition to all dematerialized does not yet seem to be entered in manners, because only 30 % of titles per unit are bought today via smartphone. However, the latter were the first to go from physics to digital technology as early as 2022.

Bad news for the annual navigo and imagine r

For those waiting for a similar treatment for other transport formulas by the end of 2025, it is missed. The dematerialization of the annual navigo pass, but also the imagine r packages for young Ile -de -France residents, will not finally arrive before the “First half of 2026”.

To justify this delay in titles which we only take care of once a year, Île-de-France Mobilités said it has given priority “To titles which must frequently be renewed to avoid having to go to the counters”. For the moment, therefore, you will have to continue to be content with having your physical card with you.
