Apple iPhone Air: Waiting for the ultra-fine model of 2027 might be the best choice

L’iPhone 17 Air should be a feat of technology for Apple, with an unrivaled finesse hitherto on an iPhone. But this ultra-fine design would involve some concessions-especially in the screen and autonomy. According to a recent rumor, these two weaknesses could be widely corrected with the 2027 model: the iPhone 19 Air.
An iPhone 19 air much more interesting for 2027
Latest news, the iPhone 17 Air screen would disappoint due to the absence of flagship functionality Pro models : Promotion. In addition to gaining fluidity, this technology has the advantage of reducing energy consumption by adapting the screen display frequency to the different types of content displayed.
Without this technology, the autonomy of this ultra-fine model would therefore be less optimized, especially since the finesse of the chassis would imply the use of a smaller battery. To remedy this limited endurance, Apple would work on a new, much less energy -consuming screen technology for the iPhone Air planned for 2027.
After The Electhe American company would table a new generation OLED LTPO slab, where oxide would be applied to all transistors – which would significantly reduce the energy consumption of the screen. Currently, this process is only used on part of the transistors in the iPhone, which limits its effectiveness.
Combined with promotion, if Apple deigns integrate it on the iPhone 18 Air or iPhone 19 Air, this should offer a real leap forward in terms of autonomy. An evolution that would also have its full meaning when you know that the endurance of the first ultra-fine model of Apple would not suit the majority of users.
Note, this new screen technology, also known as LTPO3, has already been used on theApple Watch Series 10. It would seem that Apple was convinced by this first test, thus justifying the upcoming adoption of this technology on the iPhone.
