In a shared publication to his paid subscribers on Twitter/X, Ross Young talks about the entry into production of the screens dedicated to theApple Watch Se 3. Specialist in the screens market, the analyst speaks precisely about slabs of around 1.6 inches and 1.8 inches for this generation.
Apple communicates only on the size of the boxes (in mm), and not that of the screens (in inches), when it comes to connected watches. For 9TO5MACthese new measures seem to be closer to those of theApple Watch Series 9available in 41 mm and 45 mm.
The Apple Watch SE 3 would therefore adopt these dimensions – available from the Apple Watch Series 7 – to offer a slightly larger display. It is also recalled that the Apple Watch is only available in 40 mm and 44 mm versions currently.
A logical evolution, and above all consistent. Watch Series 10 and Watch Ultra Being larger and expensive, this would allow Watch SE 3 to build a more compact and accessible alternative in the Apple connected watches.
