Arthur Martin and Symphonics launch the Schedule’n Green dishwasher which automatically adapts to real off-peak times

We talked about it at the beginning of November: the system ofoff-peak and peak hours which allows millions of households to save a few pennies on their electricity bills has changed to better match new consumption habits. It may therefore become a little more difficult to program your electrical appliances so that they run when the cost of kWh is at its lowest.

The Schedule’n Green AMDWL11642BHC dishwasher developed by Arthur Martin, in collaboration with Symphonics, “an innovative French scale-up at the heart of the ecological transition, specializing in the intelligent management of production, supply and storage equipment and electricity consumption” (the press release specifies), should free the user from this chore. By connecting their dishwasher to the Linky meter, it will start its cycle during off-peak hours automatically, without the user having to manually program their device. The delayed start will automatically set to the next off-peak hour, depending on the contract chosen, the season, the region of residence, or even the neighborhood of residence; a real boon when we know that the new regulations linked to these off-peak hours are real gas plants.

Aside from this extremely convenient feature, the Schedule’n Green AMDWL11642BHC dishwasher is pretty common. It can accommodate up to 16 place settings and is based on a programming panel on the front made up of tactile keys. Thanks to this, you can choose one of the eight washing programs provided by the manufacturer: eco, intensive, daily… And if this interface was not enough, the most tech-savvy will also be able to control their dishwasher using the Domolink application.

The price of this smart dishwasher, if not really intelligent, should range between €599 and €699. But above all, this equipment would allow 30% savings. We therefore expect other manufacturers to equip their next products with a similar solution.
